The Families of Children Affected by Earthquakes Received Solar Lights from NEST

23 November 2015, Makawanpur, Nepal: 

NEST volunteers went to Dhiyal village of Makawanpur district to distribute solar kits to the families of earthquake affected children. This village doesn't have access to electricity.


There was huge participation of teachers, parents and students. in the programme. Before distributing the solar kits, NEST Global Director Prajwal Shrestha and Project Coordinator Laxmi Shrestha, had a meeting with teachers, students and parents  and gave orientation on the use of the solar lamps  and informed  them about the fundraising activities organised by  Sadma Lama, Balu Rai and Grishma Khadka , Nepalese students in the UK to fund this project.

Thirty Four Teachers Participated in the Second Back to School Training of Trainers in Hetauda

Hetauda, Makawanpur :

Thirty four teachers from local schools attended First Day Back to School training which consists of socio-psychological counselling lesson plans for teachers, parents and children. This programme was organised in partnership with Kathalaya Publication, Kathmandu and PABSON Makawanpur. It is supported by Humana People to People SpainThis course is created by Karkhana and Rato Bangala Foundation.
